NOTICE: Sony announced they are closing PlayStation Vue streaming site February 1, 2020.

Sony allows their TV streaming service to be accessed through their Sony PlayStation Vue video game console along with more normal conduits like the Roku and Amazon Fire sticks, etc. You do not have to own the PS Vue game console in order to use the TV streaming service.

This SONY streaming service is the most expensive package I show you. It is a top-quality product, with DVR service and other built-in features: However, their monthly fee is right up there with cable TV services, and cable TV also offers at least most of your local TV station programs.

Sony offers various tiers of streaming service that includes a good mix of programs and movies. The standard service does not offer the variety of local live TV channels some other services offer. Again, use the web link above to check for your local TV station support. The PS Vue service does provide a full-service DVR.

The Sony Vue streaming rates plans are priced at $50, $55, $65, and $85 per month. The $65 monthly fee offers over 100 channels and several dedicated TV movie channels. The $85 a month fee, provides everything the $65 service provides, plus HBO and Showtime.

You can watch The Playstation TV streaming service through the regular cast of characters including Amazon Fire TVs, Firesticks and tablets, Apple TVs and iOS devices, Android TVs and mobile devices; Google Chromecast; Roku players and TVs; and all popular mobile browsers, and of course the Sony PlayStation 3 and 4, PS Vue game systems.
