Fubo has been adding a varied selection of cable network TV channels to their heavy sports channel packages. They currently offer over one hundred channels. 

FUBO started as sports streaming service but has rounded out their channel viewing content. The FUBO TV streaming service is still a sports focused service that is adding non-sports channels so non-sports members of the household have something to watch. 

 FUBO does not offer ESPN TV. But if you’re a major sports fan than the Fubo $55.00 monthly fee might work for you.

Fubo offers some live sport feed in 4K video. To appreciate the full 4K quality, the viewer will need a 4K streaming stick and a 4K TV set. Not to take away from Fubo, but several other streaming services have announced in August 2019 that they too will offer select FOX live sports feeds in 4K.

Not every channel is available in 4K, but all the live events on FOX Sports 1 and NBCSN are available in 4K if you have the TV and streaming device that are 4K ready.

Note the FUBO DVR can not currently (October 2019) record programs that broadcast in 4K.

One of the FUBO main sports programming advantages is that they cover many sporting events at the local, national, and international level. The Fubo TV biggest downside is that it costs about the same, perhaps even more, than many cable TV system offerings. And except FOX sport channels as noted above, Fubo offers 720p streams for most live content.

Along with all the live programming, Fubo offers healthy selection of On-Demand movies and current TV program episodes.

In September 2019 their package plan prices are:

STANDARD: $55.00 for 91 channels; 30 hours of free DVR services, and two separate program streams at a time.

FAMILY:$55.00 for 91 channels; 30 hours of free DVR services, and three separate program streams at a time.

DELUXE:  $65.00 for 121 channels, 500 hours of DVR service, three separate streams, and a Fubo Extra*.

PREMIUM: $75.00 for 130 channels, 500 hours of DVR service, three separate streams, The SHOWTIME Movies package, and the Fubo Extra* package

* The Fubo Extra package includes for free their normally $6 per month package of about 35 additional channels.
