Acorn TV offers two options: a monthly subscription (US$5.99/month) and an annual subscription (US$59.99/year). (Plus taxes, where applicable)
Acorn TV streaming service began in 2015, and offered the US premieres of many British programs including Doc Martin, Vera, Inspector George Gently, and Midsomer Murders to name a few.
Other favorites include A Place to Call Home, Murdoch Mysteries, The Brokenwood Mysteries, and Foyle’s War, as well as Acorn TV Originals you can’t stream anywhere else, including Agatha Raisin, Loch Ness, Striking Out, and Detectorists.
Acorn presented programs from the United Kingdom when they started. Acorn now offers programming from other territories and countries presenting A Place to Call Home from Australia, New Zealand’s The Brokenwood Mysteries, Canada’s Murdoch Mysteries, and Ireland’s Clean Break and Striking Out.
More recently, Scandinavian shows have arrived in Acorn's streaming portfolio with series such as Rebecka Martinsson.
Acorn TV is currently available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV (tvOS version), iPhone/iPad, Android mobile and tablets, Chromecast, and on laptops, desktops, and tablets via browser (we strongly recommend using Google Chrome to access Acorn TV).
