Hulu  offers two packages:

$6.00 US per month. Programs have commercials, and a limited DVR

$45.00 US per month offering over sixty channels, a basic DVR service, and access to the provider’s entire streaming library with limited commercials plan.

The $6.00 US package above is one of the lowest prices for fee-based TV streaming as it includes basic DVR service. Their basic DVR service will not allow the viewer to rewind or fast-forward through commercials. But you are offered a large amount of current and past programs for the $6 US monthly fee.

The viewer can upgrade the $45 monthly plan with DVR to zip past commercials, and rewind and forward. But it is an additional $10 US per month raising the monthly fee to US $55.00. That is one of the more expensive choices available for streaming TV, though a lot of content is available for that fee. Local TV station viewing is limited.

Only two separate streaming programs allowed at a time, though you can purchase an unlimited number of streams at the same time for an extra $10 US per month. All devices on your account must use the same in-home network. You can not watch HULU away from home.
