VUDU TV streaming service

Vudu TV is part of the Walmart family. Not all movies and programs are free on this site; However, paid content is clearly marked.

Some TV programs may only offer select episodes for free. One or more episodes in the series might be free while the other episodes for that season may cost up to $1.99 for each episode.

While there are pay-for-viewing options, VUDU TV does carry a large basket of free to watch TV programs and movies. While there is a large selection of TV programs and movies available for free, in the streaming world this means the programs and movies are presented with commercials.

Clicking on a link above takes you to the main page. Here you will see your choice of movies, TV, etc. On the top of each program picture box will be the availability. It will read “Free, Rent, Sale, In Theaters”, etc. Clicking on the box will display the price, if any.

Vudu also has a section of television programs and movies that are basically pay-per-view. These programs are advertisement free. You can rent or buy select programs and movies.

I place Vudu in the free section because there is no monthly fee. You either view a free program with commercials, or you watch without advertisements on a pay by program basis.

With Vudu Movies, customers can watch HD movies and TV for free, and on-demand, with limited commercials. “Millions of customers already buy and rent content on Vudu on a monthly basis. This new service provides value for customers who want to watch movies and TV for free, when and how they wish to watch, without sacrificing quality.”

The movies and TV shows come from Paramount, Warner Bros., Lionsgate, and MGM, and many more content providers.

Watch Vudu on smart TVs, connected Blu-ray players, game consoles (Xbox One/S/X, PlayStation 3 and 4), streaming devices (Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast etc.), Nvidia Shield, Android and iOS devices, Windows 10 devices, and more.

An account is required even to watch free programming, but no payment is required unless you rent or buy a program from Vudu.
