Hoopla is a digital media service offered by many local public libraries that allows a library member to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, eBooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on a computer, tablet, smart phone – and even your TV! Hoopla works with thousands of libraries in the United States and Canada. After signing up, follow the instructions on Hoopla to "borrow" an item to view. The number of titles you can borrow per month depends on the library. Titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later. Hoopla has hundreds of thousands of titles to choose from. The user will need a free Hoopla account that specifies which library the user belongs to, and a library card number from that library. If you aren't a member of a library, review the Hoopla list of library clients to find a library system near you that use Hoopla or Kanopy services. Then get a library card from that library.
